The Junior Stitchers section of the Independent Stitch Groups is devoted to encouraging and supporting young people who want to take up embroidery and textiles, from those just making their first stitches to students wanting to base their careers on this area of art and design.
Just like the adult members, the Junior Stitchers are encouraged to participate in an annual members’ competitions and is judged on interpretation, skills and originality.

Brighton Embroidery Group (formerly Brighton EG)
Brighton Embroidery Group has a group of young embroiderers calling themselves Brighton Young Stitchers and the children stitched these in January or February which seems a life time ago but the enjoyed making something useful and using their skills.
Coastal Threads ( formerly Worthing Saturday EG)
East Surrey East Surrey Junior Stitchers is open to all boys and girls between the ages of 8 – 16 years old and we would love to welcome you!. The group meets on Saturdays about 6 times a year at Scout Headquarters, Timperley Gardens, Redhill RH1 2AR.
